A year and 1/2 ago I found out my 73 y/o husband was pursuing a 31 y/o woman at his job. They were exchanging texts frequently and he was kept asking her to meet him for coffee or lunch. When going to a discipleship pastor at church, he confessed he had been involved in porn since he was 11 y/o. throughout the years of our marriage I knew something was wrong, but he would not respond to my questions and pain. I have been involved in BSF during the 80's & 90's, again in 2010 and now the last 3 years. My husband has changed...He is walking with the Lord, doing BSF, being good to me. But I have been brokenhearted, feeling betrayed and have dealt with a lot of trauma because of longterm deceit; and because my husband never disclosed anything. I found things out...it was like I would b]get these feelings that something was off. It was then I would discover something. He has ALWAYS been deceitful. He is very intelligent and charismatic; everyone is attracted to him; he is readily available to speak with a great amount of knowledge, a born leader. My concern is for myself because I feel like I have lost my faith, my relationship with my Lord. I read, study the Word, but I feel empty. Triggers are less often, but if I struggle, he gets "miffed" att me...it's like subtle scorn for me "not getting over it." I feel vulnerable and alone.
